Sermorelin, CJC-1295 and ipamorelin compared
Childhood height, a persistent blood response and an earlier meal are different ambitions. There is no common clinical contest hidden in these studies.
Study outcomes by population
I’d resist a league table with a single winner. The studies use different populations and ask different questions. This comparison gives each result its own row, so an adult hormone measurement cannot quietly acquire the meaning of a childhood height gain.
| Compound | Population | Measured result |
|---|---|---|
| Sermorelin | Prepubertal children with GH deficiency | Faster first-year height growth. |
| CJC-1295 DAC | Healthy adults | GH and IGF-1 elevations lasting days. |
| Ipamorelin | Adult female rats | Increased longitudinal bone growth. |
| Ipamorelin | Ferrets given cisplatin | Reduced later weight loss, without reduced vomiting. |
| Ipamorelin | Adults undergoing bowel resection | Primary recovery endpoint missed. |
The height result is the most concrete human growth outcome here. The animal findings broaden the biological possibilities. The missed patient-trial endpoint gives an equally concrete reason to remain cautious.
Receptors and duration
Sermorelin and CJC-1295 stimulate the GHRH receptor on the pituitary. Sermorelin closely copies the active hormone fragment; CJC-1295 carries stabilising changes and, in its DAC form, an albumin attachment that extends activity.
Ipamorelin stimulates the ghrelin receptor. Its human intravenous study found a brief GH pulse peaking at about 40 minutes, with an approximately 2-hour terminal half-life. CJC-1295 DAC had an estimated half-life of 5.8–8.1 days in healthy adults.
Those duration figures describe the compounds’ disappearance from blood. They do not rank how well people slept, functioned or recovered. I’d choose a patient outcome before choosing a duration to admire.
